Toward a more transparent online media environment for children

The aim of this project is to examine how a disclosure of online embedded advertising should be implemented in various types of online media content a) to be noticeable for children, and b) to be effective in activating their persuasion knowledge.

This research project is partly funded by a Research Fellowship Competition grant from the American Academy of Advertising (AAA) and also partly by the Dutch Media Authority (in Dutch: Commissariaat voor de Media).
